About DL Hoefer
The turning point for Hoefer was meeting his metaphysical teacher. He began observing the social structure – how our attitudes continue from a primitive past, a great anthill of deeds and beliefs reinforcing themselves - automating our reactions to life.

He quit VA Drug/Alcohol counseling, suspended psychology studies, and began working as a handyman. His teacher advised, “As a freelancer you are on the social structure periphery - better able to observe its influence and origins - less insulated from your attitudes - life more readily teaches who you are and what you are about.”
He holds a BA in Psychology from Arizona State, a diploma from California Lutheran Bible School, and has independently studied metaphysics, epistemology, Eastern and new-age religion.
For the past thirteen years he has supported leaderless sharing groups in which every participant becomes the teacher, and every sharing relates to what is arising now.
